This image is a one-two punch - first, the centered comp leads you straight to the good old goat; then, a mild darkening on the left side of the frame leads you to the shoes. A sad occasion and solemnly attended. Grain and toning perfectly expressed. What a fitting tribute and affecting image. Thank you for posting it.

this had me in tears. If I could give you a 20 I would, even if it got me banned forever.

I don't know if this is stagecraft or not, but I've had to dig a grave and you seem to have found the beauty in my suffering.

It took me a while to grasp, so first, my condolences. The portrait orientation is magical. It helps maintain some distance from the emotional state that the image conveys. This piece is worth framing and hanging.
