 This is actually my wife, who has started riding with me. This shot was taken during her longest ride to date, 15 miles. Though I have made great strides myself, dropping 80 pounds and riding almost 4400 miles in 2012, I still have 40 pounds remaining to get where I want to be, so the concept applies for my own resolution as well.

Expecting this to perform just so-so with the DPC collective.

They really need to make those bike tires wider - cut down on the visual contrast between their size & the rider's!
Congratulations on your progress, and congrats to your wife for joining you in the adventure. Changing your lifestyle is the key, and you r both doing that - yeah!

Taking pills would be counter productive. I don't believe in taking pills when there are better and more natural means of dealing with things.
