Thanks everyone.

The pen is a Parker brand pen for those interested. Fine point nib. I love it.

I too had this pegged for a ribbon. Gave it a 10 at the time. This image seems to encapsulate all the good things about hand written correspondence that seem to be lacking in this computer oriented world we live in now. Very traditional and neat penmanship too works well with the style. Lovely.

Lovely pen, lovely rendering. I'm an old-fountain-pen freak myself. This was my top choice.

I like everything but the color tone you selected, but that's a matter of personal preference obviously. Otherwise, nicely done.

lovely pen. Nicely lit and composed. Is it a cartridge pen? Doesn't look like the results from any dipping pen I've seen or used. (8)

I always thought a "Mont Blanc" pen was the real thing ;)

Good (but not too original) shot, very good processing
