 Geez. I thought I put comments in here. Wanted to say this was a totally candid shot. I was outside getting ready to finish some chore and was near the garage. The snow started coming down pretty strong and my son came out all happy about it. My camera was in the trunk of the car so I grabbed it quick and put the 70-200 on. This shot was taken about 50 feet away. Funny thing was I didn't even notice the snowflake hiding his eye in the photo when I was processing it. :-) Oh well. One of personal favorites of 2012.

This was one of my faves in the challenge just for the emotion displayed. The eye being obstructed takes just a little away but what can you do? A very nice top 20 finish.

His exuberance feels genuine and it's obviously just beginning to snow - the pretty autumn colors that linger in the background back up the title. Lovely light, too. Top three for me. Voted Earlier.

A nice photo, but a pity the one snowflake obscures the lad's eye. Good color, focus and exposure, of a relatively dynamic moment. I like the rather sharp and still appearance of the snowflakes contrasted with background bokeh.

I'm a great fan of this sort of stuff. Just a few nitpicks though, I'm sure you may of had other shots to choose from or maybe you didn't, but if there was an image where his eye wasn't covered with a snow flake, It would of impacted on me more. Also his stance is a little awkward.

Apart from that I love the pop of blue jeans and overall well PP. 8
