 Shot through an old window that is melting

The glass could be from 1916 when the house was built (I wouldn't doubt it - but could be wrong). Glass doesn't melt over time, it means it is cheaply made glass that is of uneven thickness, the whole house is full of it.

Inquiring minds want to know--why is the window melting? It certainly created a delightfully distorted view for you, & the color is fun too.
