This is a relatively new sculpture outside Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art. It is 20' x 47' and it constantly revolves. I think one of the commenters thought I might have flipped the image for impact, but this shot was just when it was rotated away from me.

From the CMA website:
As the word “MOTHERS” spins overhead, directly in front of the museum’s main entrance, it becomes a glowing presence that is both celebratory and imposing. It had to be large, Creed [the artist] said, “because mothers always have to be bigger than you are” and because “it feels like mothers are the most important people in the world.”
If you're interested, here it is in action.

I love one-legged people. Well, at least the ones who are created due to longish exposures. I especially like when you get just shoes. Excellent score and placement with a street photo! You really do score well in a variety of genres.

The combination of blur with the tack sharp background, and the monochrome, are stunning. Congrats on your continuing top ten and better streak.

compositionally, this is fantastic... the blurred figure in the foreground, the person to the left, the shadows, the dark glow - really just an excellent photograph.

I don't usually think B/W when thinking of neon and I would love to see "Mothers" not in reverse. However, great detail and comp.

The deep shadows really make the sign pop.

There is something really cool to that picture. First you made it much more interesting with the sign being backwards. Is the ghost like person under the sign one of the neon mothers? Maybe. Great b&w. Love the way the pavement looks. Well done. 9
