 Admit it, some of you are humming along ;-)

"My" egret again. From the same shoot that got me a yellow ribbon for this (heavily edited) image of him.



My big zoom was broken at the time so I was using a wider angle zoom. For this shot, anyway, that may not have been a bad thing.

The water level was low; hence the mess everywhere. May have overdone the blur a tad trying to get the bird to stand out.

This is awesome! The blur is heavy but not so much that it stands out instead of the egret. Great image.

A perfect title for this shot. I like how the reflection looks like the mud covered version that he is trying to avoid.

Such a pretty bird. His stance makes me think that he just said "eww yuck, what did I just step in?" :)

I like that log and reflection behind, looks though it has a foot stuck in the mud too, but a delightful comp.

Great shape to the bird. I like how the log cuts the frame down providing some triangular framing for the bird.
