Energetic composition and tones highlighting the mundane. Very engaging despite the heavy vignette and sharpening. You pushed most of my buttons. Well done.

Excellent shot. I love the stark, eerie feel to his. Hitchcock would love it.

Nice high contrast and gotta love the pigeons. I like all the different shapes they've formed. And I really like power lines, which I realize is odd...

Voted earlier coming back to comment.

Introducing grain is a tricky thing - it can either add to an image or be an unnecessary addition. Here it acts as a great compliment. It adds to the sense of grit and edgy feel that is just further accented by the very dynamic B&W tones. The birds on the wire take flight and there seems a sense of foreboding in the air. The sky is gloomy which adds to that sense of 'something is about to happen'. It makes me wonder what message will these birds deliver.

Why do I feel like I am in "The Birds" movie. This has a nice look and feel to it.

Great b&w. Love the processing. I think the vignette adds a lot to it. Kind of makes me think of the "Birds"- Hitchcock, even though I saw it probably 20 years ago? :) Definitely good job!

I think one of the most continually fascinating sights are birds on wires......I have swerved off the road many times to capture this type of moment! I love how I can see the different stages in the birds' wings, folding and unfolding! Great shot....nice editing.
