It's that funny lens again, it's making you even better, such dynamics in proportionality.

not a fan of miniaturization effects, but I found this one very appealing.

A tad surreal. Quite interesting.

This is very dark, I'm not sure what I'm looking at

Might be a nice valley, but I can barely see it. Image is too dark, focus is hard to find and the B&W is not very helpful either.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: What an interesting rendition of this scene. The tilt/shift technique and the underexposure offers up something dark and mysterious - almost claustrophobic in its intensity. I think even the border works - the bright band making the image itself even more oppressive by comparison.

Critical stuff: Nope.

Overall: Fascinating.

The small focal range gives this a very neat feeling.
I'm just wondering why you chose to hose so much of this photo with the giant border.

For me the large white border spoils this by overpower.
