 My wife was shopping, so I perched myself at a telephone pole and waited for something interesting to happen. These two people kept staring at me so it was hard to get them in the act of doing anything. I was standing 10-12 feet away with my macro lens (shooting flowers on cacti two seconds earlier). Set the camera to manual focus, approximated the distance on the lens, and waited.

This woman walked by and I got what I was waiting for. Still don't know if this is my best of the month, I had two other street shots I really enjoyed, but I guessed this one would do best, so here it is.

Nice catch. Although I may have chosen to crop a bit tighter, as the left and right elements are distracting.

Nice snapshot; foreground is too light I think, some burning in PP might have worked for the better.
