 I think Chanel has got the ideal colouring for the high contrast challenge.
Not much I did in pp other than convert it from RAW, then into B&W, sharpen and correct a few shiny parts on her nose.

Oh, what a great morning - voting is starting at 6,66 ! I am sure it will come down, but nice to get a good start.

This photo was genuinely done a bit before sun set out in the open and is not a studio shot. The sun was approx where she is looking towards and the sky behind was a very soft washed out blue. I used the pop up flash to get a bit more light on her. I wanted to take a completely different shot of the dogs (which didn't work out :-)), but when I saw them playing on that heap it looked like a good opportunity to take some nice portrait shots.
