Great photo in b&w. It enhances the photo's theme, fits the challenge.

I like this a lot. What a fabulous scene. The greyscale gives it extra apeal in my view. The composition culd have been a little better I think. The postion of the sailboat directly above the parasol? Might have been better to one side. One other thing is that the horizon is not quite level, it slopes slightly down to the right. With this type of shot it must be absolutely level. But well done for capturing it.

perhaps a crop off the top about 2 inches would have made a better picture. I find the sky above take to much away from the shot.

I really like this - the black and white is great - I'm a sucker for dog pictures :)

wonderful capture! however, the light is quite harsh. a bit darker would be fabulous. very nice composition.

I think this image would be stronger if your midtones were a bit more "ummph" to them. Right now the image looks really flat. You need more contrast.

nice shot - I especially like the dog....the picture might have been even better if you had cropped in a bit closed on the subjects in the foreground....still...one of my favorites so far...

Nice shot but doesn't appear backlit to me.

Has a nice old-fashioned feeling to it, but doesn't seem to fit the theme very well.
