 Used two lights, one light on Backdrop with red gel, the second behind object and above with yellow gel. Only unsharp mask after resizing for the web. This is my first entry so I didn't even want to adjust the colors or anything that may reject my image. :)

I'm sorry but I don't find this image appealing at all, that's just my personal opinion. It reminds me of the type of stock shots you see for advertising.

This looks more like directional lighting, rather than backlighting. Nice colors in this image.
