Don't you just love depth and shadow in a photo? Caramba! I would love to try painting a watercolor of this. Great lines and lovely shading. Very well balanced. Thanks!

"The backlit hikers are lit from the front" seems an awkward title. While I like the idea of the evergreen forest and the quiet walk and the horse manure in between the hikers, I would also like a lower angle on the shot. A CP filter would help. Good idea though.

I wouldn't normally rate a snapshot of hikers so high, but, Geez! There IS backlighting, everywhere! And the long shadows emphasize it. And you didn't lose detail on the back of the hikers (at least, not much). It's just really nice. Congratulations.

nice pic, I like that the subjects convey movement and makes me wish i walking along with them. I do have reservations about the title, "hikers" would all you need, the pic did the rest. good job 9
