Well Mav, I read your notes and I might take up drinking and editing if I came up with something this beautiful. Just gorgeous colors. I don't understand your low placement on this one.
I came home after being on the road all day takeing these shots, took some pain pills for lugging both cameras and 4 lenses up the mountain, and putting the pinch on my already hurting back... sooo I had oh maybe 1 1/5 hour to edit it.. I did (on pain pill and dead tired) looked went OOO pretty colors... slapped it up and slunk off to the hot tub... the next day afer the open of challenge, I went WHAT THE HECK WAS I THINKING... WOW talk about over cooked... ah well I whined to Snaffels, and she comforted me.. Lesson learned don't drink n edit! LOL
Oh to add to the pain, I purposely went up to this state park to get a STUNNING reflection shot,,, the sun went under the clouds and stayed all day, until sunset and what you see is the ONLY sun, reflection etc of the day.... phfffftttttt There arewould've been some beautiful tree color reflections IF the sky had been anthing but flat gray!
