I shot more pictures for this challenge than for any other challenge. The first shoot I did I didn't realize it was Minimal and only shot RAW. Then I went out with only my cell phone and it was a glorious day so I took a bunch with my cell phone. Then I got home and the sky kept getting more and more gorgeous.

I am so grateful for this challenge as it got me out of my funk and shooting again, even though I hate Minimal. But the day was a gift of God, and I spent late afternoon and early evening watching the splendor of the sky as it just kept getting better. In the end, I liked the color versions of my images better, but had set the camera to monochrome, except for the last few, of which this is one. At least I also have the raw files. I could only choose one, and it probably will not do well, but it sure means the world to me.

Editing steps: none at all.

Sigh... I should have titled this "eavesdroppers", as my including the two on the edges was intentional...

Ah well. Live and learn.

haha me telling J how to edit a photo. I had a tiny thought that maybe the photog left in the two sidebars intentionally but ah left my comment anyway. However, I would have cropped off some of the top because you almost have a diagonal with those three trees and it's more apparent that way. But like I said, it just feels awkward giving you my opinion :D

This is pretty with a nice supporting background. I would have zoomed in a bit to get rid of the trees on the sides.

A nice image with nice colors. Too bad the other trees are poking into the scene.

beautiful colors in this shot
only critique is that I would liked to had seen more (or less) of the trees to the left and right. either way would have made the image more powerful.
