Thought it was time to even up the score and introduce my son to DPC.
He is starting to get a complex because his sister gets all the limelight:)

Oh this is magnificent. What a nice looking guy. Great color and tone. I love his stubbly beard and expression. The light is awesome. You composed this quite well!!!!

Thanks Tony,
This wasn`t taken with the 20D...it was the trusty old Fuji that churned this one out :)

Excellent portrait Gordon! I like the tone which fits really well with the lighting. The guitar helps say something about your son...

Great composition, tones and contrasts in this photo, well done!
I think the only minor thing I have about this photo is that touch of rim light hitting his neck on the left, if I crop off the last inch from the left, at the end point of his eyebrow, for me, makes the picture all the more dramatic. I think because the neck rim highlight level is the same as the bright highlights to his right it detracts from the power of the overall photo, as soon as I cover that left inch I really love it!

Hey you really should have left some good looking genes for the rest of us you know! Nice work Gordon - love the light and tone. I take it he's in a band/musician. Looks like he may have an official photographer on the cheap. : )
