Greetings from the Critique Club :)
On a first note, I really liked this image. I also think it would have been a very powerful image without the tree branches in the foreground. The bridge itself is very beautiful and would have made an excellent photo on its own :) The curves and snow highlights on this bridge are quite amazing in my opinion :) The lack of color saturation really creates a nice wintery feeling... cold... somewhat somber. The 'somber' aspect of this image ties in nicely with your song title as well :)
On the technical side, I am wondering why you may have chosen the camera settings you did. I don't know if you were trying to introduce grain with the higher ISO setting or not, but there is very little or no grain at all in the image. In a normal situation, ISO 200 on this shot may have given you a 1/100" exposure length which could have created a higher black/white saturation in this image? Not sure...

| Interesting photo, but I find the branches with berries very distracting if the subject of the photo is the bridge. Your composition and reflection of the bridge make me feel like I'm looking at a pair of eyeglasses. |

| The water doesn't look to troubled. I don't think the shallow DOF works with this pic either. The branch in the foreground is really, really not helping this pic live up to its potential. - Inspzil |

| This is a very pretty picture. There is a lot to like about it. However, the water does not look at all troubled. To me the picture just doesn't illustrate the titile. So I am going with a 7. |

| imo I would like to see some trouble to the water. I do like the bush in the foreground however, adding color and dimension. |

| Nice reflection, however I don't see the troubled water (looks prety calm). The branches seem to be the main focus of the photograph since they're the only objects in focus. Jacko. |

| Nicely composed shot, love the colors - small points of bright red contrasting against a very muted and soft background. I like the composition of the bridge in the background, not so sure about the branches, seems a little busy. Hard to say if it could have been improved without being there. Nonetheless, a great shot! |

Nice how the soft bridge-background creates a mood that seems to go with the song. The effect from the snow is great!
There are a lot of jpeg compression artefacts around the branches and berries, could be avoided by saving at a higher quality level. There is room for that, the size is only 65kb (150kb max). It would look much better I think.
Still worth an eight for the pic itself. |

The picture is gorgeous but I just don't think it fits the title too well. The focus is on the tree and not on the bridge and the water sure doesn't look troubled it looks as serene as can be. But aside from that it is a neat shot.6.
Take my comments for what they are worth for I am just a novice with a new camera. Dodo |

| This image has a lot of potential but I don't like the branches obstructing my view of the bridge. Also, this is a very serene and tranquil setting, and doesn't portray the "troubled waters" stated in the title. |

| This is different. The subject, the bridge, soft focus and almost out of focus, and the branches right in front sharp and the berries clear red. The rest of the photo looks like a grey tone. The bridge is rather hard to find because of this, but in some way this is an appealling photo. Can't quite figure it out. But it's worth a 6 to me. PTL |

| The bridge is awesome, with the snow on the arches, and the reflection is great. But your foreground is too busy. You can barely see the bridge. Also your water is not very troubled. |
