Challenge: Clichés and Sayings II (Advanced Editing VII)
Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1
Lens: Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25 mm f/1.4 ASPH
Location: Nighttime, inside. No natural light.
Date: Oct 6, 2012
Aperture: 1.7
ISO: 100
Shutter: 0.4
Date Uploaded: Oct 7, 2012

Wanted to focus on "not" invited. Could not decide on aperture for subject. I wanted it blurred, so as to focus on foreground, but not so blurred as to diminish focus on subject altogether.

I like it. The vignette works well to draw in the eyes.

I really like this. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the cropping at her head/hair. I think it would've been better either totally cropping her head out OR leaving her whole head there. Still, giving a 7 because it's good and it's different. Not like the 5,461 "Water Under the Bridge" shots. :)
