I had been playing around with the polarised light when I realised that it would make a great entry for this challenge.
I made the swans out of cellophane paper.
Placed them in front of a laptop screen with the Ubuntu screensaver on.
Switched off all other lights and took the picture.
PP
Adjusted contrast and brightness in RAW
Converted from RAW
Cropped to get the edge of the screen out
Did some dust removing with the cloning tool
sharpened and re-sized for DPC
Ohhhh sooo HAPPY :-). The votes had slipped from almost 6,5 to 6,3 when I went to bed last night, and I honestly did not expect a good finish. What a super surpsie :-). ...top 10 ... top 10 ... top 10 .... yeahhhhhh :-)
And not a single "1" or "2" - Oh MY WORD!

LOL, thank you on the "interesting" origami. I assume you are not an expert in the field :-). If you look at the image I had to use several pieces of sticky tape to keep everything in place - a real "no-no" in Origami, but then this was a "photo" challenge, plus the sticky tape added some interesting colour pattern to it, so I thought it would be "allowed" :-).
