 "Background's a little too busy. And it's over-processed. Other than that, these look like nice guys."

They were. I spotted them up on the fire escape landing and asked if I could take a picture. Sure. So up I went (stairs, not a ladder). Full sun. No way to get any distance. Lots of leading lines :) Not much I could do about any of that so I just decided to embrace it.

'Bout what I expected. Half way through and I'm scrambling to hold a 5.35; my hope is always for an above average finish and this is unlikely. Oh well. I really like levyj413's comment about the processing. Me too :) but somehow it seemed the right thing to try for the subject.

Like it for its candidness. Like the processing; seems to go well (fitting) for the tattoo artists. Both subjects have great character appeal.

I really like the composition although it might not have even been planned :)
The shadows, choice of black and white, interesting lines of the stairwell and processing just bring it all together.
