| I do like this better as well - it gets to the story without the distraction of the color. The brights are still a bit bright, but I almost think it adds to the charm of the shot in some way. |

Yes, I think in this version we are drawn straight in to what's happening, in the color one we tend to wander about a bit before it hits us. If you have color efex pro on your computer, running this one through a glamor glow preset will get rid of the harshness withough taking away the detail, I do this to nearly every b/w image, works like magic.
