The Pedigree of Honey
by: Emily Dickinson (1830-1886)

The pedigree of honey
Does not concern the bee;
A clover, any time, to him
Is aristocracy.

Pretty image.
Although I knew that this poem was familiar I had to Google it.
Thank you for refreshing what I should have remembered.

The isolation is amazing. Not a particularly photogenic bee (as I suspect that he may be quite dead), but an amazing shot.

The soft focus and high key don't really combine for an interesting picture here. This may sound odd, but i wish the bee wasnt there. The flower is intriguing all by itself. Love how the stem just blends away and the petals have a very pleasing feel. The bee is just kind of "meh".
