 Shot on a very humid steamy afternoon, just after a huge thunderstorm. The sun, surf and sand were in full glare. I initially was trying to pull off a High-Key Blur for the other challenge but the sun was too high to give me the right light. After I played a while the Thomas Moore quote came to me and I realized it was a Simile so I coarse corrected this capture to here. I shot with really High ISO and a pretty fat aperture with hopes of some detail but overexposed for brightness. Took 10 shots to get what I thought would work. I warmed the colors quite a bit to bring in the yellow/browns and pinks from the beach (it was overwhelmingly blue) The water was actually kind of dingy but the sun was so high and the sky was so blue after the storm that the blues were naturally very intense. I blurred a little, boosted the corrected colors some, cropped it down, blurred a little more, brought up contrast a bit to give back some detail (i didn't want a lot). I'll say it now, THIS CAME TOGETHER EXACTLY AS I HAD IT DRAWN INSIDE MY HEAD. SO, AFTER YOU ALL ARE DONE CRUSHING IT>>>I"LL STILL PRINT IT AND PUT IT IN MY HOME BECAUSE I LOVE IT!

Wow, this is really cool. The capture alone is great but the processing really enhances it. I could see this hanging on a wall.
