I'm pretty excited about this entry. I think it has a lot of things going for it, so I hope it scores as highly as I think about it.

I love these chairs at the UW Memorial Union Terrace. They come in four colors: Yellow, Orange, Green, and Blue. It creates a wonderfully colorful atmosphere that makes for some cool photos all year around.

But the best is the summer morning when the sun hits them just right to make them stand out against the lake and sky. I really love the way this shot shows the colors, shadows, and details.

Note that I also had my 50D with me, so I took a photo with that. Comparing them afterwards, I found that while the clarity and depth of field of the DSLR were of course far superior, the composition that I got from the iPhone made this image stand out, and the DSLR photo was deleted from my hard drive.

Love the composition and the quirky chair on the dock. I think the horizon may be slightly askew. The dock is more likely to be tilted than the horizon in reality.

I wish the chair's top were centered perfectly... to make this perfect.

I love the unexpectedness of it being there! And the pop of yellow! Well done.
