This is using the Lensbaby Edge 80 in the Composer with a NIR converted D70. Processing was just adjust levels a bit to get the leaves brighter, then Nik SEP2 Antique Plate I filter with border 11.

I was so excited to have a reason to break out all of the Lensbaby Optics (I have them all I think) but lo and behold I managed to get the Edge 80 stuck; happens if you don't have it aligned right when inserting it. So until I can figure out how to get the bugger back out I'm stuck with just the Edge 80. Might force me to learn to use it properly; I seem to think the focused bit will be someplace other than where it ends up... :-)

If anybody knows how to unstick a stuck Lensbaby optic let me know!!

Love the shot and you got me looking at the Edge 80 but thankfully a little expensive for me right now but have added it to my wish list.

Can't help with the removing, is it screw in like the WA & Telephoto adaptors? I hope you didn't cross thread it! At the start of the month I was sat with all my inserts for the composer and had forgotten how to swop them out lol.

Love the tone. That cat looks very comfy. What is he hoping for? Probably to be out in the clear. Nice balance of blur

Great combination, with the four things going on in this one.
I'm not sure how the lensbaby parts fit, but if it's a lens element that drops into the tube part of it, you may be able to remove it using a small suction cup, or the rubber end off an eyedropper. Meanwhile, you've got an edge on us.

Very nice I like the way she's sitting right on the edge.

This is fab! Maybe the stuck Edge 80 will prove to be a fortune. The border is a bit kitsch and unnecessary imo.

Wonderful! Wouldn't you just love to know what they're really thinking?

I've only used a lensbaby once and loved it. I really should buy one, but I keep finding other things to buy instead. I have no clue how to unstick it, you might want to start a thread to get some help on that.

I'm trilled you are in this SC, I was hoping for some of your lovely cat images. You have a good intuition when to press the shutter. And I see you are in NM, too (I grew up in Albuquerque). Are you going to do some more of these interesting shots with the NIR converted D70? The effects are fascinating. Looking forward to this SC!
