Great capture in the poisition of the bird to show it's activity and coloring. As another commenter mentioned, it does appear to be a bit overexposed, probably shot around midday. My monitor tends to show "flaws" in the shadows well, and the shadow between the foot and tailfeather is quite pixelated. Depending on monitors, that may be apparent to some. As you well know, a cloudy day would have given you more rich color and perhaps finer detail, but we work with what we have!
As for commenting the whole challenge, I truly commend you for that. I have been enjoying your insights on the photographs of others as I review them (I did not have time to see the challenge before voting closed) so your effort is very much appreciated! |
