The flight on was a 16-seat propeller plane, only half filled. We didn't even have a flight attendant. During the flight I switched seats repeatedly to get good views and took over a hundred photos of the clouds. With the contest in mind, I framed many with my hand in view and this was my favourite. It's entirely unedited (besides resizing to submit). I got my camera (two or three years old, passed down) last week -- never really owned anything other than a disposable before this.

Scratches in window takes away from the picture but there's not much you could do about that I am sure. Nice pic though. - 7

returning for comments.

A very attractive entry with superb composition. I would have loved a better clous formation, but hey, we can't have it all. Bumping to 6

I really like this image. Simple, but I feel it says a lot. Great concept. I think it would be really lame without the hand, that really makes it.

hand?

I like the lighting on the hand. I think it competes too much for attention and steals the focus away from the clouds.

I think better lighting would have done wonders for this (on the hand, but it's a very nice concept.
