 A local glassblower had previously agreed that I could come and photograph him working. I decided this was the challenge to do so, to capture his imagination in action. I've seen glassblowing before in the UK and elsewhere here on the cape, but this time we got really up close and the glassblower Fritz Lauenstein was happy to talk about what he was doing.

Vivenza
SEP for added structure and for U points, used in luminance mode and then merged with a copy of the previous layer
Skew lower left to improve angle of furnace sill relative to the frame
Gradient on right side
Dodge blow pipe to make it stand out a bit more
Color balance, adding magenta to remove the greenish hue on furnace door and surface.
