The right amount of contrast and tonal range, dodged and burned just so. May as well be his. Very well done.

very impressive, 10 (voted earlier)

This one has it all for me - a great scene with interest throughout WITHOUT a cluttered look, crisp focus from front to back, and an excellent tonal range. Having an "Ansel-like" subject was not one of my requisites for an excellent score, but it sure doesn't hurt. In my top three.

Love it all.9.

An interesting photo, but doesn't entirely work for me. There is much detail, but it is hard to make it all out. I don't know whether choosing different colour channels for your conversion would have helped?

Great representation of AA. The foreground seems a little dark but still a nice image. (voted earlier)

Great control of details in the shadows and the sky. Great shapes and a wonderful sky. One of the best in this challenge.

Wow, the patterns of the rocks seem to be continued into the clouds of the sky. Very cool.

This is the best sky in the bunch. Wonderful tones and composition! (voted earlier)

Glorious drama in the sky and rock formation detail. Masterful retention of detail in the shadows. Geologically, this is very interesting. The uplift nature of the rocks and the horizon causes the viewer to stand in awe of the history. This is a fine representation of the beauty of the wilderness. One of my top 10 picks. 9
