 This was taken on the evening of my 51st birthday along a country road in between Pearl City and Freeport Illinois. I am originally from that area and I was back for a wedding and other family events last week. The corn is only about a foot tall now, but I stopped when I saw this wheat field almost full grown! I went out every evening looking for scenes to shoot. There are some very interesting buildings scattered all over but I did not have time to venture too far each night. I saw this scene and had to wait a little while for the sun to get just right. Once again, reducing to 800 pixels just takes away so much from this image!
