America was built on wars and has thrived economically during periods of conflict. Financially, can the country correct it's current state without more war? Many people think not - though I hope they are wrong.
Sadly, in our world, the ape with the biggest stick is generally the alpha... given that situation, i'd rather be the one holding it, even to never swing it, instead of having it used against me.
We spend millions per minute on feeding/housing/educating people who come illegally into our country while they don't work or contribute, even though they are healthy and able.
