 Turtle skeleton, placed in area, ribbon added, desaturated all colors but the purple in HUES, USMed, and Neat Imaged. The turtle didn't really win the race, did it.

The purple ribbon draws all of the interest and seems to serve no purpost here. I think you would have been better with all B & W

I'm not sure I understand how this fits in with the fairy tale theme? Maybe I've just never heard this particular fairy tale. I think the background is a bit bright.

what's the purple ribbon ? I don't understand the context

A solid red ribbon would work better here than a bumpy purple one. It took me a second to figure out that it was supposed to be the finish line. Otherwise very good, nice control of depth. The Highlights are a bit too blown, using a bit of white cloth to shade the background would have helped.

Nice image - I like the white highlights in the back - the shell is really cool. The color of the ribbon looks good, but I don't care for the texture - looks too man-made compared the the rest.

i dont understand. is this supposed to be the tortoise and the hare?? If so, whats with the purple tape?? the finish line? I dont get it.

the overexposure in the background is a bit extreme... Distracts from the subjects of the ribbon and the tortoise shell.
