I LOVE this picture. I really wish I would have bought more smaller flowers for the negative space(so I could of opened the picture up) but i'm still very pleased.

I hope people understand the picture and what it symbolizes. Growing up my mother would plant beautiful flowers every spring. She would collect all these diffent flowers and then they would go with the season. Come spring she would start her collection again.
To lose your collection each time you started would be pretty down putting.
I don't know if this would be thought of as the normal collection or collector but it sure seemed like it to me.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

This is a lovely shot, your model is very fresh-faced, nice little natural smile, and looks like very little pp was done to her - which is a nice change! Even from the borderline risky "nostril shot", it's still an appealing and very pleasant pic. However, even though it's quite pretty as a portrait, it's a little hard to see the Collections aspect of it. There are many literalists on this site, and if you're not bang on, they'll let you know with their voting (though I do think all those sub-4 votes are a little much).

The composition is quite good though yes, that upper right corner does have an unfinished aspect to it. The whites of the flowers are a little close to being blown out. I like that she's looking up and out and not straight at the camera, though some would argue for the eye contact with the camera. I like the capricious and playful nature of her smile and averted eyes, personally. Had I voted on this it would probably have been a 7.

Still, keep in mind that this is a tough site, and you're fairly new here, so don't be discouraged! Please keep on shooting and entering.

Feel free to PM me,

Susan

Very colorful and bright. I think that the reflection in the eyes takes away from the prettiness of the face. Perhaps if that was cloned out, it would have looked a little better. I do like the flower, they add tons of color. Appealing shot overall.

A beautiful picture and a beautiful model. I don't understand the collection. But I like the picture, so I won't vote it down.

I'm gonna need some help with the title...or maybe some punctuation to understand.

Lovely portrait, but I'm missing the true sense of "collection".
