Really nice. I like it a lot. I would although have like to see little more negative space above the bridge. |

Like the B & W. The electric poles are distracting. |

The compositional elements of this shot are really quite interesting - so it's perhaps interesting to think about why it doesn't work, at least for me, which it certainly doesn't. Your sky here is pretty flat and monotonous, which perhaps doesn't help - though one would think that just pushed the interest to the bridge and railway. The actual organisation of elements across the frame is a touch weak - the vanishing point of the railway, and indeed the tracks themselves are relegated to a very small corner of the image, making them lose some impact. There's a lack of detail here too - that fine resolution that would show the textures of the bridge, and the vegetation beside the tracks. A scene that has great potential, I think - but in the end let down by composition (the placement of the rails relative to the bridge) and very simply poor overly-general light. Nothing I think you could have done about the weather I know, but nevertheless that is what lets it down. |

Would have been much better without the third of the pic to the right of the vertical support. |

Seems a bit small, framing doesn't stand out to me. Looks nice in black and white, nice composition |
