There's something about the little bit of light just on that flower that feels softly moody to me. I like to feel something when I look at art. Not thought-provoking but one of those images I just enjoy looking at. And I know it's not tack sharp. But it would look awesome on canvas, I bet.

PP - levels, increased saturation and contrast, sharpened flower, reduced noise, resized, sharpened, blurred background more, added border.

I fell in love with this one & gave it a 10. When I look at the challenge results, it says my vote was a 10, but when I look at the voting distribution on this shot it shows you got 0 votes of 10. I don't get it. Grr!

I agree, it would look awesome on canvas, framed & hung with one of those small museum lights on it. In fact, it reminds me of some of my best museum experiences. I didn't notice it isn't tack sharp, but then that is not a high priority with me. It's the light on your subject I admire.

Oh, that result wasn't fair! I think it is quite lovely and though very low key I don't think it's too dark.

Nice shot of the flower and,if I read your title correctly, the darkness is part of the dream. But I would have liked a little more detail in the flower.

To me, this shot is a little too dark. There's not enough focus or detail/sharpness either.
I think with some more light and a sharper image, it would have really looked good.
