What an interesting shot. Not your normal wildlife shot... so it definitely meets the "art" requirement here.
I wish the focus were on the face instead of the hand (I'd have blurred the hand a bit to fix this), but I totally love the colors and the way you've captured the pose.

| I'm not sure that I see this as "Art"...I ask myself if I would see this in a gallery/coffee shot...possibly a zoo entrance...I will say it's a cute little bugger |

| He/she looks intently focused yet oddly meditative. The green cast of the face makes me think more alien than friend. |
