I'm not looking to steal anyone's idea on this, but could someone PLEASE give me an example of repitition in a photograph. I do know what the definition of repitition is, but representing it in a photo has got me baffled....Please help!!! :)

I am not a paid member so I have not read the challenge requirement - but If I were to photograph say a candle placed between two mirrors with infitnite reflections showing it would be perfect example of repitition.

Looks like we are in for another "Doesn't fit the challenge" challenge ;)

To me THIS would also fit the bill.

A lot of the photos in the "Rythm" Challenge, to me, would fit "Repetition". RYTHM CHALLENGE

Here is one that I took last February that might fit the bill also.

If it can help you you can think at it in term of 'pattern', even if it's not exactly the same.
Jacko's honey is a very good one as well.

Christy,
Even your negative space entry could be considered repitition =)

Hmmmm.....because of the double window? So...if I took a picture of, say, twins...would that be repitition??

I loved all the examples everyone suggested! I remember seeing the "Honey" one, and I loved the idea! Ok...I think I'm starting to understand the concept here a bit more. Thanks to everyone for your help! :) Sincerely, Christy

Yeah, technically. But you'll probably find the more repitition, the better! Seeing as how we like obvious interpretations around here ;)
