Is it me, or do some of the entries look a bit too similar for two different people to submit?

I have a particular one in mind, where even the scratches look identical.

Is it a husband and wife team, taking shots of the same subject?

What do the rest of you think?

There are several families that submit here and it's not uncommon for two shots of the same subject... I haven't looked at the entries yet (6am here :) but I'd guess that's it...

I agree... there are three that are quite similar, and while I know families submit here... they are all submitted under the same name on a different website. Might want to check into this!

Checked and taken care of. Unfortunately, it looks like a case of someone abusing the system.

Hello...
The photos in question were mine and my wife's. We entered several because we like taking photos for the challenges and wanted to submit more than one. We didn't realize it was against the rules. No offense was intended. Our photos were disqualified as a result. We are anxiously awaiting our suspension to end so we can participate again, but with only one photo each!
The photos were entered under one name at Digital Photo Contest because we have just one membership there (it is a paid membership site). We checked the rules there as well, and it appears we are breaking them too. We will be paying for a separate membership for my wife at that site.
Once again, no harm was intended. I had my best score going this week too... bummer (see it at this url:

Very sorry about what happened, but I'm afraid we have to stick with the rules, for the benefit and fairness of this site.

I did like your Jacks photo, and I was wondering how it was done? I expect you dessaturated all channels except blue right?
