Moving up steadily now, and my site average is at an all time high. If I can refrain from doing anything really sucky, maybe I can reach 5.35 by year end.

people are re-arranging their votes as my vote number isn't changing but my score is...(to the better I might add) so change away...

Can't complain about my score but I wish those re-arranging voters raised my vote :( I'm not moving at all and everyone seems to be moving up. 6 more votes until 100...will post then.

I was at 6.67 this afternoon and now am at 6.58, so I took a big hit this afternoon with voters. Still can't complain, but that's a significant drop from 90 to 102 votes. But... I can live with it. :-) Congrats to those who are still flirting with higher numbers! Thank you too for the 9 comments and 1 fave so far. :-D

got an interesting comment by someone trying to explain what his/her view of what abstract is.
For some reason, this comment really rubbed me the wrong way.

anyway...i'm floating around 5.7

Yup...me thinks they wanted Puzzle Macro...and some commenters think they know everything...but they are wrong.

I switched away from my favorite photo to a 2nd or 3rd favorite for this challenge, because I figured that people would think it had to be unrecognizable to be abstract. Just look at the beginning of this thread.

But then again, I'm currently sub 5 in rule of thirds, because I went with my not so straight-forward version of rule of thirds.

there are many different types of abstraction, from non representational to representational or partial abstraction. mine would probably fall under partial abstraction since it would be an object that's identifiable but presented in an abstract way. i usually take comments constructively but for some reason, this comment really rubbed me the wrong way.

I received a similar comment.. It totally confuses me... But, it's not as if my image is a hum-dinger.. I'm lucky to have reached 4.8 and change at this point.. I'll be jumping out of my chair with joy if it gets to a 4.9..:-).. I should have went with my first shot.. (same story, everytime)
