Put mine in earlier this week. This will be my third challenge entered on DPC, and right now barring any last minute 1's and 2's my "painting with light" entry should finish with a 5.1, the best of my previous entries (which isn't saying much when you're working off a 4.6 previously ha ha).

This is my third as well. Mine is probably not what most people were expecting an Afterlife entry to look like. Of course I probably should not make too many judgments based on just two comments so far, but I'm also going by the low score. I don't mind being scored low because I'm still very much learning, but I have a feeling that the low score is an indication of a lot of people thinking that it doesn't fit (rather than just being a not so great photo). Kinda disappointing as it does fit my conceptualization of the afterlife.

Well, it IS very different from most of the rest of the entries, but I'm happy with it, so that's good I suppose!

This may be cool.
RULES! Include a cheese somewhere (hidden but could be seen) or make it your primary subject, but still fits whatever the challenge topic is!
SO you guys wanna take the current one? or the next advanced challenge? current one is "literary adventure" kinda hard to incorporate cheese, lol

I think people in here conentrate on the photo rather the concept while voting. It's depressing.

Isn't it a photography contest? Seems like the photography would be the thing to concentrate on.

True to some extent. However, if you focus too much on the photo, what's the point in having a theme?
