I am 25 so at the "top end" of your young age range. :-P I am fairly new here and really hope to improve. There are simply amazing photographers here from all ages!

p.s. Does anyone else get mistaken for a small child? My husband (26 years old) has been refered to as my father at least seven times. I have been given children's addmission (12 and under) without even asking a few times too. *sigh*

...opposite problem, I often get confused for being too old. I have been talked to for not keeping control of my kids...a.k.a friends..o well

o..and about the thread...too young for ur scale, but if ur submissions get blasted, just look to my profile for a quick self-esteem boost.

My husband has been mistaken for my father also - funnierly enough though, when people "know" me there think i'm pushing 30.

I'll be 22 in October... but I'm definitely not one of the "hotshot" younger photographers, here, haha! :) It's ok, I have fun!

I wish... I couldn't even get children's admission when I was 10. I think 25 and 23 are not so far beyond 12 that we shouldn't still get discounts though.... ;)

My case is completely the opposite.. I'm ecstatic when I get carded, and I think I look my age at the most! People seem to be very bad at judging ages now.

We'll go with that - just bad judges of age. My husband says it will be great when he is 80 and looks like he has a 40-year-old wife. Then he won't look like a child molester at least. LOL.

I'm an old Goat of 43 and purchased my first SLR in April. The site is teaching me alot. The answers to posts in the forums seems to work well. However, when I post a shot and others throw in comments...even if they seem negative are REALLY helpful.

Pssst- scalvert, thanks for the plug! You're money is on it's way ;-)

As the wonderful scalvert introduced; I'm Katherine (aka NightShy), 17, been doing digital since April this year. DPC and the people of DPC have taught me everything, it really rocks here. I really shouldn't be posted up with those exceptional photogs quoted by scalvert- I'm definatly still learning the basics! Anyway, welcome to the site! Good to have some more youngin's around :-), looking forward to your work.

It's all because of the hormones in food. Yeah. Kids look older now, y'know, and they're mixing things up... or something.. :) My guy is also a bit older than I am, and he looks considerably younger. I guess if that holds I'll look like I have a younger man when I'm old and grizzled in.. what, a few years? :) I had someone accuse me of being in my 30s when I was still 20... hate to think what I'd be now..

Hey, guess that means I should be really glad I didn't pose nude for you at the waterfalls last week...Isn't it illegal for a 16 yr old to take nudies? ;)

I just turned 18 but I mostly just browse around the site. I've only entered one challenge and that was awhile back and it was AWFUL haha. I have a few pictures I've taken recently on my website though. This site can be inspiring but I usually end up feeling like a failure after looking at pictures on here haha.
