Funny... it's been snowing like crazy in Denver, where I live, but I've been stuck in Illinois with the rain and wind and I would give just about anything to be at home watching it snow.

.

I'm on a project in Chicago and have been "commuting" to/from there every week from Huntington Beach, California. It's suppose to snow like crazy this afternoon, so I'm hoping my flight won't get cancelled.

At any rate, I look forward to going from balmy weather to sub-freezing weather and back each week--it makes me appreciate California that much more! ;-)

We have had weather around -29 degrees celsius and snow and more snow for the last week. With the wind chill it was around -40 degrees. Today? -2 degrees celsius and clear skies.

Balmy...

The same as yours. 3 days ago I was outside hanging xmas lights wearing a teeshirt today I am wearing 3 layers of long sleeves and just dug my snow blower out of the back of our garage because the weather man said we are due for 6-10 inches snow.

Just took this and did a quick PP on it. This is our first snow in Oklahoma today and it is cold. there is 1 1/2 inches of ice underneath the snow.

it's damn cold, especially for the bay area (CA) we RARELY get snow because we're at sea level, but last night it was 22 degrees Farenheit and last week it was in the 70s during the day.

What makes it worse is that in my college classroom, we have no heat. In fact, we just have a fan recurculating the freezing air...that never turns off. Everyone in my class on tuesday was chattering their teeth, wearing fur coats, and I stole my friend's scarf and wrapped it around my face like an arabic face cover. What was the temp? 32 degrees. It looked really funny, but it really wasn't. I mean there must be some regulation on how cold a class is allowed to be. Brr, luckily 2 people brought in space heaters today, but that still didn't stop me from bringing my fleecy blanket :)

Hmm, you must go to one of those fancy skoooolz. No heat. That's pretty sad.

Here in Denver, we got 6-8 inches a day ago...Actually the mountains got the real stuff upwards of 24 inches over 24 hrs, so I am making tomorrow, a beautiful Friday, my first serious snowboarding/mountain photography day. Yep...so I hope to get some sweet shots to post. As well as limit my falls to no more than 10 per run. Heh.
