I have broadband, and these were even slow to load on that! ;oP
Please use clickable thumbnails out of respect to the dialer-uppers among us. Thanks! :O)

Yep, also I like to look at the images in the DPC portfolio area where I can see things like what camera took them, along with shutter speeds and apertures, and photographers' comments. |

Pretty good shots. They are in the pretty good range, but the potential is there.
If you could zoom in on the first one, that'd be good. As it is, I can't see any of the detail.
Second one is good as it is.
Three is good but unfortunately I only think of that allergy medicine commercial. :b
Four is good, I'd recommend lowering the gamma, so that the person is completely siloheted. Make's a good high contrast photo.
Five is good, but I'd either choose between zooming in on the people, or leaving them out of it as a landscape photo. Not bad as it is though.
My favorite is the 6th link. If you could go back at a time when the cars are gone, it'd be a great photo.
The seventh is good also. Perhaps just a touch brighter to bring out the child's face from the shadow. |

That's exactly what I was thinking, although the first one is my favorite, I think. I also like the last one a lot.
But they're all great. Awesome job. |

1 - I like the angle and clouds but overall find the light a little harsh.
2 - I like the repeated pattern and the blue, but again, I find the light a little too harsh.
3 - Funny pic. The house in the bottom right is a little distracting so cropping or cloning it out could be an option. That sweater is LOUD. Again, the light is fairly harsh, which you can see with him squinting, but not quite as harsh as the previous two.
4 - Not a bad silhouette.
5 - Cropping out some of the sky, which looks very cyan, and putting the horizon line on a third may enhance the composition.
6 - I like the color layers. The sky looks a little overexposed. Not sure of the significance of the cars and they dont really add much. Cropping it just past the fence to get rid of the cars may be better or else reshoot without them there.
7 - Has a somewhat snapshot feel as it has many elements and not really any one focal point. The child is fairly dark and I'm not really sure what he's doing. Plus there isnt much with him like an expression that pulls me into the image.

I like #6. Nice composition of lines of different colors shifting attention to the left. The cars are O.K.- another line in the composition, and they bring some 'mental' action to otherwise relaxing photo. Clouds look little bit too ‘flat’, and I would crop it the way that the sky would take only about 1/3 of the picture.
as for the rest I agree with moodville |
