Today I checked the size of my 'garden' folder on the pc, in 4 weeks I'd got 1.3gb of shots! After an hour of deleting similar pics and (very) poor shots I managed to write 700mb to cd. Not the best of shots but beat the 'cull' any thoughts?

Thanks Laurie, it was actually a bit of falling petal I removed (thought it was dust on the sensor at first), did you notice I also took out two poppy stalks?

Oh, yes...I saw that. Very good job. I haven't become that skilled in PS yet. Usually when I try to clone something out it becomes a big mess. You did a beautiful job! :o)

Lovely photo of the poppies. On my monitor there's a blue patch on the upper left corner that slightly distracts my eye.

Have been playing with my monitor calibration again tonight and yes I can see it too, its a bunch of blue flowers. Not sure its worth revisiting other than for another practice at ps?

OK, 30 seconds with the clone a blur tools on the resized image but hope it improves?
This is so much fun :)

No, leave the blue...it looks too spotty with the cloning unless you can blend it a little more. Just my opinion... :o)

Laurie, I see what you mean and I like the blue bit. That was only a quick attempt, here is another one (my last ;) looks fine on my monitor but I reckon brighter ones (monitors)might see the join? I just copied a section from the right and pasted it to the left.

Yeah, I can see where you pasted it...it's pretty prominent. I'd just leave the blue area. :o)
