What a waste period! This is a lousy challenge IMO. |
...I agree completely, with both of ya. |
I have to disagree. We need more challenges than encourage some humor. I'm pleased to see it. |
Then why not just have a "Humor" challenge. Speaking for myself, I don't need a challenge theme that encourages me to use humor...it just happens naturally sometimes regardless of what the theme is. |

Is it...
Poster from a Rejected Movie
OR
Rejected Poster from a real Movie?
OR
A film industry blogger who has been rejected? |

I think that the link posted by the original challenge suggester is key
//www.funnyandjokes.com/rejected-movie-posters.html
The way I am going to do it is take a preexisting movie, and that would be my title, but then photograph something that would be rejected as a poster for that movie.
Something along the lines of the movie "Breakfast Club" and the picture being someone eating breakfast with a club.
I think this challenge is rejecting the "movie poster" not the "movie"
That is my personal interpretation anyways |

From the original suggestion thread:
//www.yuppiepunk.org/2007/12/rejected-movie-posters.html
This explains it much better for me.
It's a poster that does not sell a real movie very well... so the poster has been rejected.

That is exactly the sort of thing I had in mind. |

Honestly? That's probably not going to help.. Why? Because all of those are rejected on silly technicalities... How would a regular DPC voter know that a bodybag being dragged is OK, but one with a hand sticking out would be rejected?

The challenge is "Create an entry based on an idea that would likely get rejected as a movie poster." ... that link is just showing posters that were rejected as a rough idea .... |

I don't understand what the big misunderstanding is.
Description: Create an entry based on an idea that would likely get rejected as a movie poster.
It doesnt say rejected as a movie. It says rejected as a poster. |

Test is allowed...slight oversight on my part. I've adjusted the challenge to account for it. |
