I'm requesting that my entry [cut just in case] for the 'Waiting Challenge' please be DQed. I sent in the wrong photo which was edited outside of the rules limits. I've been a bit busy this week and just now realized what I'd done. I would like to apologize to all.

That's a shame...it's a very sweet photo. I do appreciate your honesty. Hope to see more shots like that in future challenges! :o)

You can't have your own photo dq'd per se, however you can request an admin note. This is done by viewing your own image and clicking the link below it.
edit: the request for admin note isn't there anymore.... unless you view your photo as if to vote

You should've been in on one of yesterday's threads about someone posing a hypothetical dilemma for discussion. The issue I believe they were looking for us all to discuss was all about being honest with others and yourself.
Honesty is a rarity these days. I gave your picture a 6, I give your
strength of character a 10.

That's a pity, it's a really pretty portrait. A bit of a weak link to the challenge though, but I still gave it a good score.
(lets not start another thread about weak links to the challenge please :-) ).
Out of curiosity, what was the editing you did outside the basic editing rules? The image looks quite clean, and there are no obvious colour glitches or lighting faux pas which would suggest a DQ was in order. |
