I remember when I was hospitalized once, one male nurse was starting my IV. After sticking the needle in he forgot to put pressure on it and secure it. My blood went all over the bed sheet and the floor. He looked bad and didn't know what to do. I don't think the fact that I didn't know how to react, so I started laughing, helped too much :)

I had an MRI done a while back and this female nurse took me to this little room, handed me a gown and told me to take off all my clothes.....I immediately responded hey we just met can I atleast have your name.....It caught her off guard pretty good.

Spent all day at my son's elementary school today as part of this volunteer "Watchdogs" program. I high-fived kids in the halls, gave bullies a combination angry-dad/stink-eye, did some reading evaluations on K, 1st and 3rd graders, played ball with kids in the rain at recess, tried to keep myself, my son and his classmates safe from the lunch nazi (they run the cafeteria like boot camp) and ultimately survived the day.
Now I am further behind in my work, so...
I ain't got time to lose.
Keep my throne warm for a few days. |

You're a good man Ken. I recognize the duties at school with my grade 2 guy and kindergarten-last-year dude. Spending up to an hour every day with home work guidance. Busy days. But I still have time to win. You're My throne is kept warm by myself. |
