| Hawkeye, I agree!!! And I hope you stop in and vote this challenge! I must admit I'm at a loss as to why I have such an average score. I know personal preference plays into scoring, but a good image is a good image. |

swaying between 6.0 and 6.1, would be nice if it could stay in this area.

No one said anything of the sort. You misapplied that meaning.
Simply, if it is a well taken photo (including composition, etc.) but happens to be of a DOG or a CAT or a FLOWER, then so be it. It's worthy of a good score.
If it's a GOOD PHOTO. |

I think I got one of those love/hate images. It started low, went to 6.3ish and now has settled at or around...
