Quick question, are you aloud to clone out grass? like a stray bit of it?

In advanced editing, yes. As long as the cloning does not change how the viewer would describe the scene.

I'm completely drawing a blank on this one and others challenges this last two weeks. Feel like I have writers block.. er... camera block.. er whatever.

ooh yeah! :P

Another question, what about cloning some motion blur, that looks almost like a splash on the lens rather than what it is?

ask yourself- will it change how someone describes the overall image/content subject...? if the answer is yes- don't do it -- if the answer is no then go 4 it

remember there is still time to -re-shoot- ;)

That sounds like creating something that wasn't there. If I'm understanding you correctly, not allowed.

mine better do well in this challenge-

wish it would just be roll-over day and start already...

otherwise I might be tempted to tweak/adjust reshoot/change my entry...

gah this 1 is going to drive me crazy till rollover...

I can't believe I've already submitted my image a full two days (submitted last night) before rollover. I think this is the second time I've done that. I guess my weeks vacation paid off! har. ;|

Now to reshoot! :)

I'm extremely happy with my shot.

This means one of two things:

One- I'm right, and you'd better get to shooting, because I'm gonna kill this one.

or

Two- I'm wrong, and this baby's gonna bomb like an Atomic Betty.

Ahh, in any case, I can't wait to see if I'm right or wrong...

I'm in too. It's been a long time since I've entered an image that I like as much as this one.

I seem to have missed a few of the advanced editing challenges recently so it was nice to do a proper editing job.
04/11/2010 07:00:29 AM · #24
wow -- maybe I shouldn't even bother trying for this one :)
